Supperclub

So I've been lucky enough to have cooked for some wonderful people since i have been a chef. And more so since i have started my Palestine on a Plate Journey. I created a menu that i felt was diverse, and large enough to show some particular favourites of my country and hopefully ones that you will love too.

Two recipes and a great review

Since beginning this journey of Palestine On A Plate i have had some wonderful encounters with people and some also very aggressive ones too. But since I am here to promote positive sides of Palestine, i shall not go down that road.

Supper Club

I have been very lucky that i have good friends, some luck with publicity and people who are interested in my work. I have been asked to participate in several supper clubs serving Palestinian food. I have said yes to all of them as i think it is time people knew how wonderful our food is.

Royal Support......

Having friends who you have not seen in years doesn't mean that they don't support you. I thin I haven't seen Danielle Newnham in 20 years, but she has been supporting me as have other girls I went to school with from Queens College. Our whole year turned out to be extremely artistic and very strong and vocal.

Dinner

Last night I really felt like I needed some home comforts. I have moved to a new place in Chiswick and wanted to feel at home.

Olive Harvest in Palestine

I saw this great article in the telegraph about destination you must visit, Palestine. They have the most beautiful pictures showing the olive harvest with some incredible pictures, all very beautiful in their own right.

My Inspiration....

Growing up my inspiration has always been my mother. She is a strong, loving , charming, Palestinian woman who loves food.

Finally here

Palestine On A Plate has been a long overdue labour of love and from the insistence of my friend Steph, I wouldn't have done this. He pulled this all together and pushed me forward to bring our home cooking to the forefront.
